Sleepy head

Isabelle has been an amazing sleeper this week, which makes mommy happy! She can sleep anywhere! Today she fell asleep on daddy's leg.

She had a busy day, her first babysitter! A special thanks to Auntie Heather for watching Izzy so I could go to a funeral. Izzy had a great time, thank you!!!

Cousin Love!

We stopped by Nana and Papa's last night to drop off the things we borrowed for the baptism only to find that Katelyn and George were there. Isabelle got a lot of attention and gave smiles to her cousins. I think we have a future babysitter on our hands!

Summer Lovin'

I think if the weather was like it is today year round in minnesota, I would have to be a stay at home mom! :) Izzy loves it too, we took a walk with Stella and now I am reading on the deck while Isabelle naps in the shade with Stella. Isabelle started noticing and smiling at Stella last night, pretty cute!

The Newest Little Catholic!

Everything went perfectly, she slept through the whole thing! We were proud parents yesterday! Thank you to everyone who could make it and help us celebrate Isabelle's welcoming into the Church! She is one tired little girl today! I can't keep her awake long enough to even feed her, she even fell asleep mid-stretch this morning, how she did that, I do not know!

 She has been sleeping all day, seriously!!! I can barely get her to eat! This was her in the middle of a stretch, but she fell asleep!

Excited!

Isabelle is excited Grandma and grandpa are coming tomorrow! She can't wait to meet them. In honor of their visit, Isabelle is using her Packers nuk. She is going to be one confused Viking/Packer fan when she gets older! :)

A Morning with Isabelle!

Isabelle is finally getting big enough to wear all of her cute outfits! Thanks to the Daravingas' for this adorable outfit! We had to roll the pants about five times, but it you can't tell when she wears it! THANK YOU! :)

Happy Father's day

Happy Father's Day Daddy! I love you so much! I couldn't ask for a better daddy! You are so patient with me when I am fussy, so gentle with me when you give me a bath, and so silly with me and thanks for being the best cuddler! Thank you so much for taking such good care of mommy and I, we love you! Enjoy your day!

I am getting oh, so big!

She loves her some Bruno Mars

So I didn't post yesterday, so here is a bonus for today. So when I was pregnant with Isabelle, I would always sing the Bruno Mars song, "Just the Way you are." I would also play it on my phone and hold it up to my tummy for her. Now, when she is fussy, I can play the song and she mellows out immediately! This song helped me get my hair dry today and held her off for another twenty minutes before it was actually time to eat. :)

Isabelle loves to lay on Mommy and Daddy's chests and sleep! She is also trying hard to suck her thumb, but doesn't get that she needs to stick her thumb out so she sucks her knuckle.

Our One Month Old!!

Time flies, our little peanut is already a month old! Some fun things I can do now are:

*Lift my head for a longer period of time

*Stay awake for longer than 10 minutes

*Track and follow things as they move

*Make noises and talk a little

*Smile for real, not just because of gas :)

*Drink from a bottle like a big girl for daddy before bed

 *Change outfits multiple times a day (Mommy too!) due to spit up and blow outs

Still deciding if we are friends! Mom had to bribe Stella with a treat to get this close to me!

I can sit...sort of!

Isabelle gets the hiccups a lot and really isnt a fan of them.This morning she liked to sit up in the corner of the couch and look at books while I read to her, she didn't seem to mind her hiccups as much. Our baby is growing up too fast already!!
