I had to reload this, as it was blurry. I hope this shows up with better quality, we shall see. Here are some pictures of her first week, I won't be doing this every week, but this is for those of you who couldn't be here. For the best quality, do not make it full screen, then it won't be blurry!

Memorial Weekend
Isabelle had a very exciting first Memorial weekend with Auntie Erin! We went out to dinner, we ran some errands, we went to Church, we went to brunch, we had an authentic Japanese meal thanks to Auntie Erin, and we went to Minnehaha Falls and walked around. It was very humid yesterday, so even though we all showered, it might not look like it. Here are a few snapshots from our weekend together!

Famous!
Isabelle had her first photo shoot on Tuesday. Here is our sneak peek until she is done editing the rest. I am so excited to see them. Click Here for Ten Tiny Toes Blog
Isabelle has been spoiled by Auntie Erin already. She loves being held by her and hearing her voice. She is finally starting to be a little more alert. Last night after dinner she was wide awake. We were all fighting over who got to hold her.
Today we are going to the Farmer's market while the weather cooperates. More to come....

Big Week for Izzy!
Isabelle has had a very eventful first week of life! She has had lots of visitors and has gone on lots of walks with daddy and her sister, Stella. Here are a few things that have happened:
Sunday, May 22nd: My First Tornado
Monday, May 23rd: First Doctor's Apt
Tuesday, May 24th: First Time Sleeping in my crib + My First Photo Shoot
Thursday, May 19th: First time out to eat...Pei Wei
They brought us our food and the man said, "How old is she?" I responded, "Four days old." His response, "And you are already out, shouldn't you be home resting?" My mommy guilt set in and I started to eat my food fast, then I asked Pat if we could leave, I was too anxious that she was going to cry because it was so close to feeding time for her. It was worth it to get out of the house though.
Sunday, May 22nd: My First Tornado
Mommy's coworkers came over to meet me and we got to talking so much that we didn't hear the sirens. Thankfully the tornado didn't come our way, but sadly it caused a lot of damage around Minneapolis.

Monday, May 23rd: First Doctor's Apt
My Stats were:
Weight: 7 lbs. 25th percentile
Height: 19 1/4 inches 50th percentile
Head:14 inches 60th percentile
Tuesday, May 24th: First Time Sleeping in my crib + My First Photo Shoot
This was harder on mommy than me, but it has helped us both get our sleep. Plus, it helps daddy get more rest for work! I have been doing great! This picture is taken on our video monitor, sorry it is a little blurry.
We went to the photographer's house for our pictures, we cannot wait to see them. Isabelle did great! She was a "rock star" according to the photographer. She slept the whole time and held the poses perfectly.
Wednesday, May 25th: My Belly Button fell off in my diaper!
Thursday, May 26th: Went on a walk in the Baby Bjorn with mommy and Stella on one of the first sunny days since I was born!
Friday, May 27th: Happy Birthday Papa and I get to meet Auntie Erin...yeah!!

Tummy time = Sleep time
We have been trying to do a little tummy time each day, only Isabelle thinks it means naptime! We have some work to do with our sleeping beauty!

Welcome to the World Isabelle Grace Christensen!
After 20 hours, you decided to "grace" us with your presence and we are so happy that you did! From the moment we laid eyes on you, we fell more in love than we had ever imagined possible. We are constantly looking at you in awe thinking, "WOW, we made you and you're beautiful and perfect....you're ours!" You are more amazing than we ever could have imagined. I had been dreaming about you and what you looked like, but you blew me away. We love you so much baby girl!

Patiently...I mean, Inpatiently Waiting!
Dearest Baby Girl,
I have dreamed of you my whole entire life. Most little girls dream of their weddings and being a bride, while I did that too, I always imagined myself as a mom. I loved playing house and taking care of my baby dolls. All of my life, I have known that I was born to be a mom. I feel like that is my purpose in life. Now, you my dear, have really thrown me for a loop. You were due one week ago today, Mother's Day, a day I dreamed I would finally become a mother, but that day came and went and still no sign of you. Family and friends continue to check in to see if today is the day, but you continue to be content and comfortable.
From the moment we found out we were pregnant, I have dreamed of you, what you'll be like, what you'll look like, our first moments together, etc. As each day that passes past my due date, I get a little more sad. I know you'll come, "in due time", as everyone keeps telling me. However, I have waited not just ten months for you, but 28 years, so it has felt like a lifetime of waiting. I know once I see you, I'll be reminded that it was well worth the wait and that you needed that extra time to develop, but right now I find it hard to be patient. I want you to always know how excited we were for your birth and how many giddy smiles we shared at the thought of your arrival. Some day, probably around age 16, you'll forget this moment and you'll think we are really annoying, embarrassing, and more than likely, stupid. We won't "get it" and we won't be "cool", but know that we love you and we do everything because we love you. It is funny as we wait in anticipation for your arrival, we can't help but think about our own parent's excitement for our arrivals and then thinking back to the days when we weren't so nice to them because they were doing their job as parents. Sometimes we won't be your best friends or answer your questions the way you want us to, but our job is to take care of you, love you, and protect you, even if you don't see it at the time.
Please come soon! We know we'll have a lifetime of memories together, but we cannot wait for them to start, to meet you, and to show you the world. You are one lucky little girl, you are so loved already and you haven't even graced us with your presence yet. My hope for you, is that you arrive happy and healthy, and that no matter how hard or bad life seems for you as you get older, you know that you are SO loved by many people and were very loved before you even made your arrival!
