Cabin fun!

We love Ely!! Izzy had a great car ride up with cousins George and Kiki. Kiki read her stories and kept her entertained. We had a great first day too! A boat ride, the Blueberry Festival, a bounce in a bouncy house with Kiki, and more!

Why do we buy toys again?

This has been her entertainment for at least twenty minutes and counting. She went from screaming because I couldn't pick her up since my hands were full of raw meat as I made burgers for the cabin, to laughing and running around with her paper towels. It is the small things in life apparently!

Fork

Cheeseball learned how to use a fork on vacation and now that is the only way she'll actually eat a decent amount of food these days. She also thinks she is HILARIOUS when she bites down on the fork and does "no hands!" She is becoming a big girl more and more each day, so sad and exciting at the same time.

It has been so much fun to watch her start to pick up on things and learn more each day, I can't wait for her to talk more. For now, we are proud of her for saying, "Mama, Dada, dog, stay(To Stella), peas (please), and she just started thk (thank you). She has mastered saying please in sign language and now says "peas" with it. They do sign language at her new daycare too, so she'll know even more I am sure come fall. She keeps us laughing each day with her quirks and antics. It is hard to believe she is already 14 months old!

Being silly, thinking about trying "no hands!"
Concentrating hard on putting the food on her fork by herself.
Cheeseball!

Summer meet up with old friends!

Izzy and I had a great morning! I think I need a nap too! We went to library story time where Izzy used her manner and sign language to say "please" to the other kids when she wanted a toy, but instead of waiting for them to give it to her, she would just take it after asking please a few times haha. Baby steps! Then, we met up with friends and former coworkers from SJB, at Edinborough Park since it was raining out. Izzy loved it! She scared me a few times with her climbing skills and joy for taking risks. I was climbing a much as she was to make sure she wouldn't go walking down the slide like she tried to do. She would giggle as soon as see saw me panic and come her way, stinker!
She loved to be wheeled around....I promise she was smiling before I took the picture!

She also LOVED to push the seat around everywhere and into everyone!

Isabeller16, practicing her mad skills. :)

"Please" Libby, can I have your toy?

Almost the whole crew, minus Cooper and Alexandra.
Rocky, Rocky...
Don't mind me, I am just going to hide under this hoop and poop, nobody will even notice.

Wipeout style...

My cheese face!
Busy, Izzy!

She is just like Michael Jordan, she sticks her tongue out when she goes for the slam dunk!

And we are back, sort of!

We got back after midnight yesterday morning, so we were all a little groggy yesterday. Izzy slept in and took a three and a half hour nap! She has been non stop snuggling with Stella today and playing/walking with her new baby bassinet stroller that Nana got for her. We went to dinner with Nana and Papa last night, so I think my "after vacation detox diet" will have to start today and last until this weekend when we go to the cabin. :)

I did my errands yesterday so Izzy and I could relax today. We thought about going to the pool, but when we went outside it was already humid at 9am. We went for a walk to the park and had so much fun trying out all of the equipment, not just the swing. Izzy is an explorer with no fears! We came back and played in the splash table to cool down and Izzy stole a few cherry tomatoes off the plant for a little snack. Wow it is amazing how much we fit in before 11am nowadays.
