We have busy keeping our title of 'The Christensen Chaos' recently. Last Sunday, we got up and went right to Williston for some swimming fun! The kids had a blast! Izzy is getting closer and closer to swimming on her own, which is a HUGE (and scary) milestone.

She is lucky she has some distances from her crazy cousins and aunt and uncle...we would probably smother her with love more than she would like. :) We can't wait to see you and hold you in November!

Izzy and Bobby went to the Daddy Daughter dance on Friday night. It was Frozen themed and they had a blast. Izzy is such an observer that she took it all in at first, but when she came home, she talked my ear off about everything. She told me yesterday about how she can't wait to go again next year!

Oh my goodness, this photo sums up Bobby to a T. The pizza sauce all over his face, the cheeseball smile, the fact that when you look at this photo, you can hear him saying "Cheeeeeeeee". He came over as I was taking their photos and posed, he didn't want to be left out. He is his Papa, I say it all the time. He has the charm, but also the hilarious (and not so hilarious) sense of humor that no matter how frustrated you are with him for doing something, you can't help but laugh. We love him so much!
I don't know when this happened, but our little girl went from a little toddler to seeming like a big girl. Her clothing size may still say T for toddler after it, but it seems like overnight, she grew up. We have had to buy all new shoes because she is growing so much. Two years later, and we can finally get some new summer clothes because she grew. She is still a peanut and many pants fall down on her, but for her, she has grown a lot. She has gotten really tall too!
Our first born, our girl, our Type A, our mother hen, our princess, our actress (drama is a speciality), our sweetheart, our comedian, our cutie. She knows more than we like to accept because it is so hard to see her maturing and becoming more independent. Taking in more than just what we tell her and what we teach her. I know this is what parenting is all about, but I am having a hard time giving up that control of knowing we are her teachers and we are the people that she listens to the most and wants to be around. She is already having opinions and is telling us when we are wrong or made a mistake. She is remembering things we said and had forgotten and using them against us. :) She is forming her own sense of style and her own ideas. It is crazy to think our baby girl, our first born, the one who made us parents, will be 4 in a month!
