Here is a sneak peek of our little cheeseballs Mini-Photo session from Saturday. We can't wait to see more. How cute is she, seriously? (I am biased, I know!)

Splash Pad Fun!

Yesterday the Craigmiles invited us to the Splash Pad in SLP. It was so much fun. In typical Izzy fashion, it took her about 20 minutes to warm up to the idea of it and enjoy it. She would cry when you got her near the spouts of water and walk backwards. After some warming up and a tutorial from Sally, she eventually liked it so much she opened her mouth and stuck her whole face in it. :) We can't wait to go back for more fun!

Video Updates

Here are some videos from Izzy's fun weekend. The two videos are of  Izzy on the Slip and Slide! She thought it was pretty fun. The last video is Miss Izzy walking around. She is officially our walker. She has finally figured out how to keep her balance with her hands and doesn't fall nearly as much. Her falls are much more graceful now. Memorial Weekend

It is rough being a kid nowadays, especially when it is gorgeous out! Izzy had an amazingly fun weekend! The Craigmiles came to play on Friday and we BBQed. Saturday, we had Izzy's one year photos where she smiled like a champ and like she was a little model who knew just what to do when the camera was on her. Then, we stopped to play with Papa and relaxed.

Yesterday, it was gorgeous! We went to the Craigmiles for some afternoon fun! Izzy got to try peanut butter for the first time and go on a slip and slide with Daddy! She thought it was pretty fun! She also went swimming with Sally! Thanks Craigmiles for a fun day! Then, we went out to dinner for Papas birthday! Izzy had so much fun showing off her walking skills for her cousins and took turns walking to each of them. She thinks they are pretty funny and loves all of the attention they give her.

Today, we went on a walk and have been on the deck swimming and enjoying this beautiful weather! I cannot wait for summer and to do this everyday with Izzy! Seven and a half days!! Oh and did I mention we have a walker on our hands now? Yes, we are very busy now!! Never sitting down, I think now more than ever, we have made sure to nap when she naps. :) videos of her walking skills and the slip and slide tomorrow! Happy Memorial Day!

Happy birthday Papa! We love you so much! Sorry it is hard to read your birthday sign, I won't sit still now that I am a walker! I walked around the house all day with your sign though! I can't wait to see you in a little bit for dinner!

Little little girl!

Izzy had her doctor's apt on Monday. Turns out she is still our little girl even though she is one. Here are her stats:

Weight: 17.2lbs (2nd percentile)
Height: 28.75in (37th percentile)
Head: 46.7cm (89th percentile!!)

Birthday Party!

Izzy was beyond spoiled at her party this weekend! She had so much fun, but wasn't so sure about her cake dirtying up her hands! She got some awesome new presents too! New Ray Ban shades compliments of Grandpa C, a splash table, lots of toys, cloths, books, and much more! Her celebration continued into last night when our friends came over for a BBQ.

Birthday Celebration!

Izzy had a wonderful birthday! She received many cards and presents, lucky girl. She also got to go swimming with Lainy during the day and again when Mommy got home. We went on a walk, had some of her favorites for dinner, and went to DQ for dessert. She didn't really like the ice cream, she made a silly face and was refusing to open her mouth for more. However, she loved using daddy's straw to have some of his kiwi-strawberry freeze.
