Bobby Boy

Mr. Bobby Boy finally had his 18 month apt, only two months late, but better late than never! He is a peanut just like his little sister, but is full of spunk. Looking back at Izzy at this age, I never thought I would say that having a girl was easier as a toddler. I had heard boys are much harder as toddlers and easier as teenagers and we are hoping it is true. Bobby, we love you so little man, but goodness, do you have a lot of spunk.

According to the doctor, you are socially advanced, which she said she knows isn't always what you want to hear at this age haha. You manage to manipulate us already at such a young age without us even realizing it. :) You are a carbon copy of your Papa and that makes me smile, even when you are a stinker. You somehow get humor at the ripe age of 20 months and it is shocking. We will read you a story that has humor more meant for the adults reading it, than children your age and you manage to laugh at all the right places. You think everything is funny, which is usually endearing, unless it is when you are being naughty. You get upset easily when things don't go your way and your first instinct is to cry and scream and then usually throw something or push someone or something. Thankfully, you usually save these moments for your dad, me, and Izzy and behind closed doors. You LOVE to make messes, your favorite thing to do is to take all of the books off of the bookshelves. You'd spend all day jumping on our trampoline if we let you. You love to eat all the time, but somehow, you don't gain a lot of weight. You are a jokester and always make us laugh and you love your sister so much. If you don't want to listen to us, we can ask Izzy to tell you to do something and you do it right away.

You are in LOVE with Farm animals and singing Old McDonald. You bring your Around the Farm book everywhere with you and love to say your animal sounds. You sleep with your plastic farm animals if we let you. You have become a little stinker with your sleeping which has resulted in a little tough love  and letting you cry it out. You manage to make everyone laugh and smile by just being you. You give into your sister as long as she says please and asks nicely, which is so sweet to see. You manage to bat your eyes and people will let you get away with whatever you'd like. You are your Papa. We know we are in trouble when you are a teenager, but know you'll be the class clown and keep us on our toes and laughing. We love you Bobby boy! Keep being you, even if it isn't always easy on us. :)

Catch Up

We have been busy, busy, busy! We had another ear infection in the mix as well. Bobby had an ear infection and just got off of medicine, which means I am sure he'll get sick again or it will be Izzy's turn. We are hopeful that Spring will be better for everyone's health!
We went to the Mall of America a few weekends ago and enjoyed some fun family time and rides!

We went to the Sullivan's new palace for the Super Bowl!

Izzy and her MN Aunties!

Izzy got some new spring boots, if only spring would come!

Bobby got a new coat!

Bobby's favorite book! "MORE BEARS!!!"

We enjoyed a little smoothie for a treat

Bobby was trying to figure out how to hold that and his raisins.

Bobby had a rough week until we got more medicine for his ear infection.

Izzy trying on glasses while Daddy picked up his new ones.

Izzy trying to teach me how to do the Duck Face

Finding their "buttons"

We had a special lunch with Lainy after gymnastics, big girls!

Friends since they were infants

Bobby got into a bad habit of screaming when it was bedtime and thinking he should be held, it was a rough few days of breaking that habit. He would throw everything out of his crib so you would go in...stinker!

He also boycotted his nap one day!

But he gives you his cheese smile and it is hard not to laugh.

We visited the Ice Castle with Eleanor and her family.

These two are bestie!

It was pretty cool!

This girl!

Bobby was too busy licking the snow to smile

Every time we would turn around he would be licking the snow/ice.

Cuties!

She has gotten so old in the last few weeks!

CHEEESE!

Eating snow again

Fun times!

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's for a Valentine's lunch last week. They surprised us with gifts! So lucky!

Izzy's new leotard and Bobby's new Batman outfit!

Thanks Gma and Gpa for a great lunch and great gifts! So fortunate to have you in MN!

Izzy got a new coat too! Think Spring!

Izzy did amazing at her swimming lessons last week!

Izzy trying on some Vday headbands

So sweet and so caring, she thought we should get a gift for Hailey, whose mom drives her home from preschool every week. She told me what to write on the message.

Izzy proudly holding up her Valentines to pass out at preschool.

Cheese!

Thanks Gma and Gpa for the Vday preschool photo of our cutie!

BATMAN!

Opening her Valentines from daycare

Our loves!

Izzy poured her whole piggy bank into a bag for Feed My Starving Children and didn't even think twice. So proud of her! The next day, she asked me if, since her friends don't all go to preschool or take swimming lessons, if we can give them money so they can take swimming and go to school too. Apparently she took the concept of giving to others in need or who don't have things to heart. :)

Stinker!

We went to Mark and Alida's for a yummy Lebanese Dinner and fun playtime with Lucy!

These three are too much!

Too cute!

We facetimed Nana and Izzy told her she wanted to take her picture. :)

Bobby got another haircut and still hated it

He looks really old now!

My big girl!

So happy!

Fun with Daddy!
