Puppy time

Izzy has been having fun with lots of puppies lately. She adores Stella and follows her around the room. She has also been hanging around with Murphy and Bella, my parent's friends dog. They have been enjoying walks together. Look under Izzy's stroller. :) Izzy was busy talking to the weeping willows today with Nana.

Packer girl with a tummy ache

Izzy got to have oatmeal tonight instead of rice cereal as we have been having some issues with her tummy. We almost had a visit to the ER on Friday night as they thought she was having a reaction to her shots.... We finally got her to sleep after a total of an hour and a half of sleep all day Friday! We are hoping this is all due to new food in her tummy, we shall see! Daddy dressed her today, hence the Packer gear!,:)

Cereal Video

Here she is eating cereal for the first time. I should have gotten an after shot of her actually getting what to do. She seemed pretty proud once she "figured" it out. We still have a long way to go. She slept through the night last night after only eating five times, she has mommy's Type A personality and normally has to eat six times a day and if she only gets five, she'll wake up at 2am for her sixth feeding. However, last night with the help of a little cereal and possibly her shots, she slept through the night with only five feedings. We'll see how tonight goes before I start loving this whole cereal thing. :)

Cereal!

Izzy had her first taste of "food". She got to have rice cereal for the first time tonight. She spit most of it out, but by the end starting getting what to do.

She had a doctor's apt today, here are her stats, we decided she will be a tall and skinny supermodel with back problems due to her large head. :)

Weight: 12 lbs (11 percentile)
Height: 24.5 (56 percentile)
Head: 16.5 (74 percentile)

Sleepyhead

Izzy made up for her lack of sleep this weekend today and napped the day away. She stayed up long enough for a visit from Auntie Heather and snuggle time with Nana.

Best friends

Izzy loves to watch Stella's every move. I can't wait until they can interact more. Izzy was up EVERY two hours last night, I don't know how I did this in the beginning. We are hoping this means her teeth are finally going to come through. Hoping for more sleep tonight!

I was playing with an app on my phone that messes with photo colors and thought the one with her eyes was pretty cool.

4 Months Old!

Our little girl is all grown up! It is amazing how much she has changed in the last month. She seems like such a different girl, no longer a baby. We go to the doctor on Wednesday, so we'll know her stats then, but she has definitely gotten bigger. The pictures this month aren't the best, it was just before bed and it was dark, but they'll do. It is also hard to get her to smile nicely since she always has her hands in her mouth and she is always moving. Here are some things that have changed or happened in the last month:


1. Izzy started daycare at "Camp Nana and Papa" and has loved every minute of it. Mommy is at ease when she is at work knowing Izzy is being spoiled all day.


2. Izzy has started eating more, 6 ounce bottles now!


3. She can roll over, from her tummy to her back and is getting really close to rolling from her back to front.


4. She is getting really STRONG! She loves to stand up, try and sit up, and kick. When she is in her crib, you know she is awake because it sounds like a thunderstorm in her room because she loves to pull her feet up and hit them on her mattress.


5. She LOVES and notices EVERYTHING. She looks at everything and has now decided that her favorite pass time is to talk to the trees and the moving leaves.


6. She is extremely chatty. Daddy is getting worried that he'll never get to talk or be heard between mommy and Izzy. She will talk herself to sleep. We go on walks and she just talks and coos the whole way.


7. She is teething still, still no sign of a tooth, but her teething signs are showing up more and more each day. She now puts both hands in her mouth and chews and sucks on them for teething relief.


8. She smiles and giggles all the time, of course, then followed by telling you a story.


9. With the exception of a few days of what we think was a growth spurt, she is sleeping 10 hours a night, wakes up, and does another three hour nap.


10. She has decided she will pick her nap schedule and since she doesn't see us all day when we are at work, she has started refusing to take any naps at night. This has been fine with us since she is as happy as can be and we get more time with her, but she ends up falling asleep sitting up telling us a story. Eventually she'll give in. She has been stubborn from the very beginning, so we know when to give in already. :)

Papa James needed a little procedure today to see why his arm is still giving him grief. We love you Papa, we hope you have a fast recovery. Auntie Julie and Great Aunt Renee tag teamed watching Izzy, thank you! Aunt Julie sent me a picture of her and Izzy playing in the mirror together. Izzy is so loved and spoiled!

Fall is here!

Going for a walk is a lot more work now with all the layers we need!

Just an average day for Izzy!

Izzy got to see Grammie today and show her how cute she looked in her pink Twins sweatsuit that she bought for her. She also got to go out to lunch with Grammie, Nana, and Papa...lucky girl! She gets to relax during naps since she is so comfortable in the dark room at Nana and Papa's house. She also gets to meet other grand kids in the neighborhood!

Randoms

Here are some randoms from the weekend! Izzy had her first babysitter besides family, other than family or close friends. However, Hannah Harris is more like my little sister since I have been babysitting her since she was four! I can't believe she is a senior this year! We had a wonderful weekend with friends and had so much fun at the Benz's wedding.

Best thing to come home to! Love her! It has been a busy week and will be an even busier weekend with friends in town and Emily and Brian's wedding! This week has flown by thank goodness. We are so thankful that my parents are with Isabelle during the day and that they give us updates throughout the day.

Bears!

We went to the Ely Bear Center today and got to watch them eat their grapes! Izzy loved the video of the bear on the ice, naughty pants watching tv!

Love these Two!

I had a LONG day at work yesterday, it was so hard to be away from Izzy for 12+ hours! I was so happy to come home and see her and daddy talking in the office. Izzy and I played and talked until she was falling asleep mid-babble! Daddy gave her a bath and this is what I overheard, I had to go record it quick before they saw me. It melts my heart and makes me so happy to see those two together and to see what an amazing dad Pat is! Another long night of Open House and Dinner with the staff tonight, urgh! I will get the hang of this right? :) Looking forward to a relaxing weekend in Ely with the Craigmiles!
