I love long weekends! We can enjoy our mornings, stay in our pajamas as long as we want, and snuggle and play games. That is.....until Miss Independent decides to "share with her brother".
I went to change Bobby's diaper and came back downstairs to this lovely mess. She literally dumped the whole box of granola out on the table and on Bobby's tray. She was super proud, "Look Mom, I share with Bobby!"
After a little lecture, she was left to clean up the mess herself, which of course, made an even bigger mess. She had to pick up every piece of granola and put it into a bag.
She had to vacuum up the pieces on the floor too.
Bobby got to hang out with the James gang on Saturday while Izzy had gymnastics! I think he enjoyed himself!
Thanks for watching him guys!! He looks pretty content checking out the fish tank!
We went to the gym's Splash pad on Saturday and Sunday night, best investment! Izzy loves the frog slide.
Bobby loves his new floaty.
Izzy had to take him under the sprayers of course.
Izzy was super proud to tell me that she got into her drawer and got her brush for me. I asked her how and she showed me.....LOVELY!
Izzy likes to say, "Ice, Ice baby" whenever she walks on the ice outside.
My shopping buddy. If only I could get this kind of smile out of her all the time.
Instead, I typically get this smile. She was pretty proud to sit in the big part of the cart at the store with the groceries.
As part of Izzy's consequence for dumping out all of my granola, she had to use her $5.00 that Nana sent her for Valentine's Day and buy me a new box. I am not sure it worked, she was so proud to give the cashier the money and told her "I dump Mommy's cereal on the table. I buy her more." She even asked for the change.
The Daravingas' came to the pool with us on Sunday. Once Izzy had food in her, she had a blast swimming and playing with them.
Using a kick board to swim like George and Katelyn.
Mr. I Don't want to be a Baby anymore decided to suck down two applesauce packets on his own while Izzy played.
Waking up and looking out the window at the snow. Seriously, I think Bobby's head is bigger than mine. :)
Making a Thinking of You card for our daycare provider, her mother-in-law passed away.
While Bobby was napping, Izzy and I headed out to play in the snow. Note to self, makeup does wonders!
Hard lesson to learn, you can't scooter in the snow. Trying hard to push her stuck wheel.
Stella came to play too, but the snow is so deep, we'd lose her sometimes.
We tried to build a snowman, but the snow wasn't sticky enough.
Being goofy.
Izzy was helping me "brush" off the cars.
And shovel
Daddy came to the rescue and had Izzy put on a face mask and scarf, you can tell she really loved the idea.
All bundled up so her asthma won't flare up, poor girl. She sat on the snowbank while I snowplowed.
She looks so young here.
We came inside and played a game. I put shapes and the letters in her name on paper and would tell her things like, "Hop to the letter Y or crawl to the triangle." She LOVED IT!
