Catch Up

Izzy wanted Anna braids before her apt the other day. Her friend at Preschool had Anna braids, so she wanted to give them a try too!

Izzy started using mouthwash. The doctors said she has to wash her mouth out often due to all of her asthma medicine, she thinks she is hot stuff.

Showing Nana her picture at preschool

Her sunflower

Just a typical morning at our house, trying to get both kids nebbed before daycare.

Love these two!

Izzy is becoming quite the gymnast!

TADA!

TADA!

A few weeks ago, we visited a new park. The kids loved it!

This is how Bobby makes sure he gets all of his food!

This kid could eat more than me, any day!

We have been to Williston to play in the water!

Fun times splashing with Daddy!

Izzy found the fairy garden at Williston.

Bobby had so much fun at the pool, that he fell asleep sitting up!

Poor buddy!

We went to Nana's house a few weeks ago to take grandkid pictures for her Christmas card.

These two cuties!

These two are adorable, but I think they'll be trouble together as Bobby gets older. :)

Cute!

Two little stud muffins!

Izzy and her Kiki!

Twins!

Bobby wouldn't smile and look at me at the same time!

Cousins!

So cute! I can't wait to see the professionals, these were from my phone.

The boys!

The girls!

The group with grumpy Bobby! As soon as it was over and he got food, he was all smiles!

Bobby and his Godmother!

Izzy was fine all day and night at Nana's house, then we got home and she fell apart at bedtime. She couldn't stop coughing/catch her breath. We went in to give her more medicine, and she was wearing a rosary on her neck. Apparently, she knew it was bad. Reminded me of my grandma and her asthma and love of her rosary.

Great photo!

After a rough few days, Izzy got more medicine and a diagnosis of the enterovirus. It was a rough week, but she is "finally" back. I am scared to even say that, for fear that she'll get hit with something else.

Goofball Bobby!

Poor baby couldn't sleep due to her coughing.

Lots of nights like this.

Thank goodness for Grandma and Grandpa! Izzy was able to spend the week recovering with them. She was able to have low key, fun days with them and rest up.

Playing with all of their baby dolls.

She recovered in time for Halloween. We made mummy hotdogs to celebrate!

Memories

I wrote this post last week maybe? I figured it was pretty much done, so here you go! I must say, switching jobs has been a pretty big adjustment. One that I wasn't anticipating being so difficult and taking so long to adjust; however, I am starting to get into the swing of things and enjoying some of the perks of my new gig. One big perk, I have personal days that I can actually USE! At my old job, which I LOVED, I felt guilty using days and it wasn't always well received if you needed a sub...enter...a union and now I have rights. :) I am able to take personal days without explanation and can be a working parent that still can be there for her children's special events. Last week, I was able to attend Izzy's preschool for a field trip to the library. Izzy wasn't feeling the best, so I took the whole day off to be home with her and help her get some rest. It was so great to be able to take the day off and drop her off and pick her up from preschool for once, since I have had to rely on others to get her to and from each week. It was fun to see her in her element and see what her preschool was all about and see her friends in person. After her field trip, we went to get some lunch before heading home to take a nap and take all of her medicine. It was such a fun day. Nothing crazy, mostly just Izzy doing her preschool routine, but it meant so much to me. I was able to feel like I could balance being a working mom for once and had no guilt over putting my family first! I was even able to take a half day last Friday to take Izzy to her annual respiratory apt too since her asthma has been so bad. Next week, I am taking a half day again to attend her preschool conference since they only have conferences during the day. It feels odd to be able to do this and have it be okay, but I am so fortunate that I can be there and not put all of these responsibilities on Daddy. Here are some photos from last week/this weekend.

Napping isn't easy when you are hacking up a lung, so Izzy got to join me in my bed during naptime.

Even with pneumonia, she still smiles.

Getting a little fresh air this weekend.

Poor girl, this was Izzy last week. It took forever to get her to fall asleep due to her asthma attacks. She has to be sitting almost upright to fall asleep.

Izzy at the library for her field trip. This little field trip took a lot out of her, she was so tired after. We had to go since I was a chaperone and they only had a few of us walking 3 year olds across the street to the library.

We stopped for a quick lunch before heading home to rest up. Izzy drew her first person, me.

I made a person and Izzy tried to do the same below!

A cookie as big as her head!

Still smiling, even when sick. She made me laugh the whole time!

Love this girl! I can't get over how much older she seems everyday. The things that come out of her mouth, both shock and kill me. She observes everything and waits for the most random times to spit out what she has noticed.

We decided to paint her pumpkin as a low key project.

She loved it!

Being sick=lots of snuggles and silly faces. We sent these to Auntie Carrie while she was at work.

Goofball

She cracks me up!

Bobby started to get a cough, so he got to start the nebulizer too. Izzy felt his pain and read him some stories while he took his medicine.

She is such a good big sister.

He looks like such an innocent little guy here....
