Thanksgiving Break

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Wisconsin. It was so nice to be able to introduce Bobby to his Great Grandparents and Great Aunts and Uncles. It was so fun to see Auntie Erin and Andy and Grandma and Grandpa.  Grandma, Grandpa, Erin, and Andy were so helpful and Izzy and Bobby were so spoiled with attention. Izzy loved all the extra attention and new places to explore, I think she is still recovering from all of the fun a week later. Thanks for everything Gma, Gpa, Erin, and Andy!

Bobby had to try Sweet Potatoes before Thanksgiving.

First time Izzy actually watched ALMOST a whole episode of a show. I know someday soon I won't be proud of that. :)

Izzy started opening apps on the iPad and started playing Tetris.

Bobby had to sit in Izzy's seat for a minute while I got his diaper and jammies ready. Sadly, he fit!

Bobby was out cold once he fell asleep.

Someone was having a little too much fun in the car to sleep.

It took a little while, but she finally fell asleep on the ride.

Walking to breakfast together.

Grandma and Izzy sharing some cereal.

Early morning breakfast at the hotel with Gma and Gpa.

Running the halls with Gpa!

Four generations...Grandma is in the photo too, look at the mirror.

Snuggles with Uncle Ish.

So cute to see these two on the floor with Mr. Bobby.

Izzy learning how to play pool.

I know our kids are exhausting, but wake up Grandma. :) Kidding, sorry, I didn't catch your eyes open.

So fun to see everyone.

Loving up Erin.

Izzy had a blast with Ashley!

Just entertaining her brother while she took her asthma meds.

Izzy was too excited about her turkey apple the chef made her to look at the camera.

4 Generations!

Great Grandpa George showing Izzy his Wisconsin pillow.

Storytime brought to you by Auntie Erin!

Ahh, Izzy and Bobby love their Auntie and Uncle!

Two and a Half

Goodness, what a difference 6 months can make for a toddler! I can't believe Izzy is closer to 3 than 2 now! (She is almost 31 months) She amazes me more and more everyday with her spunk, knowledge, attitude, and overall zest for life! We love you so Izzy girl, even though you are causing us to go gray early!

You are one persistent little girl, which we know will get you far in life, but sometimes it can be a little exhausting. :) It has been so much fun to watch you grow and learn, especially in the last six months. You LOVE learning new things, figuring out how things work, and being silly. You love to laugh and be tickled! You are an amazing big sister to Bobby and are so very helpful with him all the time. The way you two look at each other makes my heart melt. Your eyes lock and you both smile and giggle, it makes your dad and I so happy and proud. You love to run, dance, and sing. You love to recite your ABC's and get mad if we try to help you, "No say that Mommy, I do it!" You are independent and get really bent out of shape if we try to help you, we love this about you, but not when we are in a hurry. :) You would sit and read books and do puzzles all day if we let you. You love your baby dolls and pretending to take care of them like mom and dad take care of Bobby. You can turn a not so great day into an amazing night by making us laugh and smile with your silliness.

You are obsessed with hugging your friends goodbye at daycare, even though they rarely want to hug you back and want to continue to play. You have a great memory and when you aren't being silly, can tell me all about your day and what you learned at Debbie's house. You are obsessed with snow and eating snow. You love a good routine like your mom and don't appreciate changes to your routine often. You love structure and goals and sticker charts. We can get you to do pretty much anything for an M&M. You love watching "Stella videos" on YouTube and taking pictures with my phone. You could live off of snacks 24/7 and not having to sit for a whole meal. You are still tiny, you have only gained 1 lb in 6 whole months, we are trying to fatten you up with butter and fatty foods, but you prefer your fruit and veggies. You have to sleep with your blankie and Cookie Monster and recently, Elmo has made a comeback too. You aren't a fan of time outs and having to "take a break", but they do wonders for you. You think every phone call is FaceTime and try to show the person on the phone your toys and Bobby, even though they can't see anything. And so much more...

There is never a dull moment with you in our lives Izzy and we can't imagine life without you. We love you baby girl! Thanks for being you, for bringing us so much joy, for making us parents, for being such an amazing big sister, and for always keeping us on our toes. We can't wait to watch you continue to grow and mature. It has been so fun to watch the world through your eyes!
