Izzy and Uncle Tom's new puppy, Addie!
Getting a 3 year old and a puppy to both look was impossible. :)
Bobby checking Addie out.
Miss Diva!
Playing with Addie and her toys.
She is such a sweet puppy!
Cutting out colors for her first "homework" for preschool.
She picked out her outfit for preschool and now wants to wear it EVERYDAY!
So grown up!
Our new car!
On our way to Kathryn's wedding, we got rear ended. Here we are waiting for the Trooper to give us a police report.
Good times with good friends!
We missed her walk down the aisle, but not coming back up the aisle! So happy for these two!
Date night, it had been AWHILE!
Me and the hubs
Tommie Crew...minus Mark..always late. :)
My Tommie Girls! Love these ladies!
Izzy slipped in the bathtub on Saturday night when we were out with friends so the sitter called us to see if we needed to take her to the ER. Oh the joys of parenting. Luckily, Chatty married an ER doctor and I was able to send him the photo and he told us she was going to be fine. Pat and I were able to be parents of the year and continue enjoying our dinner and beers. :)
It looked pretty gross, but in one week, you can hardly even tell.
Trouble maker! When you can't find Bobby, just look in his truck. He LOVES to climb onto of EVERYTHING!
An attempt at a family photo at the apple orchard.
Good times!
Such a fun wedding!
Pretty excited to watch the Packer game and eat popsicles last weekend.
This sums up Izzy right here. She organized her underwear and just couldn't decide which ones to wear.
Bobby LOVES reading books in the car, even if they are upside down.
Cutie in his overalls from Grandma and Grandpa!
A typical morning in our house. Thank goodness for Daniel Tiger. We are able to get ready, get Izzy her medicine, and get ourselves out the door if we turn on a little Daniel Tiger for the kids. They are obsessed. We love Daniel Tiger too, the modern day Mr. Rogers.
Sometimes you hope your children turn out like you, other times you hope certain aspects of your personality they don't inherit or learn. Well, poor Izzy is going to have a long, hard life ahead of her, full of disappointments and perfectionism. I stopped at Lakeshore Learning after I picked the kids up from daycare this week to grab a few things for my classroom. Bobby was refusing to sit in the cart and I just had to grab a few small things, so I didn't fight the battle and let him walk. Izzy was in love with the sticker aisle. They had a box of stickers on the bottom shelf that they hadn't put away yet....enter Izzy. She spent a good ten minutes finding stickers in the box, locating where they are to go, and putting them away. She was getting so frustrated with Bobby for pulling them down after she had found their spot. The Type A in her was in heaven, organizing away. I am not all to blame, our poor children have two type A parents. However, I feel like we are more A- now that we have two kids and a dog, we have toned it down a bunch. Izzy was upset this morning because I made her eat her breakfast and she wanted to help me organize her toys instead. :)
Bobby loves to put things away, but also LOVES to make messes, knock things down, and use them to climb and get into trouble!
Bobby discovered that he can drink water from the faucet in the bath last night and thought it was the best thing ever.
