Christmas "Day"

Izzy's ornament for the year, her favorite, Elmo!

Santa came early for Izzy.

Izzy was a good girl this year.

Izzy's stocking

Opening presents is very serious business.

One piece at a time...

Once she opened her first present, it was hard to get her to open anymore.

Stringing beads with Daddy. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Stocking time.

Trying hard to open her markers on her own.

Even Stella got some presents.

Santa brought Izzy a big girl potty.
Concentrating really hard on her letters. :)

This and That...

Well the Izzy saga continues. I took Izzy into the doctor on Friday for a peace of mind before our trip to Mexico, turns out poor little girl has an ear infection and bronchitis. We were sent home with a weepy baby from the antibiotic shot they gave her and a nebulizer. She spiked a fever of 102.7 for three days, but thankfully today woke up fever free. We went back into the doctor to get another antibiotic shot and will go in again on Wednesday for a check up before our plane ride. Miss Izzy has been a trooper and so happy through it all. Here are some photos from the last few days of our little Princess.

Pulling her pants up since they keep falling down. :)

Izzy loves to help vacuum, even under the couch. :)

Hollywood getting ready for Mexico!

Not so sure about the floaty just yet, I am sure once a pool is involved, she'll love it!

Taking her nebulizer with daddy.

Izzy having fun with her new Aquadoodle, thanks Craigmiles!

Just reading herself a book. Apparently she can read upside down.

Santa's little helper.

Being silly and finally feeling better.

Cheeseball.

Elmo goes with her everywhere, even into the bathroom for bath time.

Building a fort with her new blocks and daddy!

Snowy Day

Well....it seems it is officially winter in Minnesota. It has been snowing all day long. It is very pretty to look at, but those of you who know me, know I am not a fan of the cold or the mess that snow brings. I HATE driving in the snow, maybe because I have white knuckles the whole time I drive in it. However, seeing winter through Izzy's eyes this year may just change my perspective. Let me be clear, she is my child, so I would be lying if I said she didn't cry when she first got outside and just looked at me like, "What is all the fuss about?" All of her snow gear really makes it hard for her to move and she is constantly moving. I kind of like the winter for that reason. :)  Here are some photos from our snow day.

Just taking it all in.

"What do you want me to do, Mom? I can't move! "

Watching Stella run around like crazy.

"What is this stuff?"

Cheese!

My attempt at having Izzy make a snow angel, clearly she wasn't a fan.

Torture, just torture.

Still trying to recover from the snow angel, sorry Daddy.

"Whoa, this slide is uneven."

Family fun day

We had a great weekend! We had our annual Family Fun Day at my mom's new place. While it was different without my dad, we all continued on the tradition that he loved. We had so much fun and are so thankful to Nana for all of the gifts. Izzy is in love with her food for her kitchen and loves to vacuum everywhere with her kids Dyson. We also took Izzy to see Santa, let's just say she wasn't a fan. I can't wait to see the professional photo because they got the perfect shot and most of ours were too bright due to their flash.

One of our reject Christmas Card Photos.

Another reject...
A cute one, but Izzy wasn't looking.
And the winner is.... (just wait until you see what Carrie did to it too, AMAZING!)
Being goofy with Daddy and her blanket before bed!
Rolling dice to pick out a present.
Loving her "Kiki!"
Rocking out with George's new drum set.
Izzy loved the dog at Old Navy, she kept petting it.
Aunt Julie swaddled Izzy, she kind of liked it. :)
Cute cousins!
Izzy wants to do everything her cousins do, she tried to get right in the action with them.
I think someone had a great day, she was SO tired!
Santa was so nice too, but Izzy didn't get him a chance.
Learning how the drums work from Georgie.
Rocking!
