Pictures, Parties, and More

I keep practicing my new skills from my photography class by using my camera and playing with the settings. I now have a crazy amount of photos. Enjoy! Ps- I almost always post from my phone and should have a disclaimer that my phone autocorrects me, which leads to my lovely spelling and grammar errors. I can go back and fix them, but it is usually after the fact and most of you get this in an email so it won't be corrected when you get it. Sorry!
Just being a goofball, per usual.

She loves her "tookie" monster so!

Ahhh, true love!

Izzy insisted on being photographed with Stella and would actual smile, cheesey, but smile for the camera.

Don't mind Stella's snaggle tooth.

"Airplane, up 'dere!"

Winnie the Pooh

Is it bad that she got hurt and I took the picture first before helping her?

Hugs for Haddie! So fun to see your happy little face today Haddie!

Happy birthday Sally! Thanks for letting us come to your party! We love your new wig!

Izzy and Libby, checking each other out at Sally's party.

Big girl having her first juice box without mommy and daddy watering it down.

Eating Sally's tasty banana cupcakes, or should I say, licking the yummy frosting off of it. :)

Frosting...yum!

The kids celebrating Sally! Izzy cracks me up because she becomes a mute in new situations and take FOREVER to warm up and even talk. I know it isn't terrible, but it makes me feel like a liar because she honestly is constantly talking and MOvINg and then she just freezes in new situations. She had fun today and I am sure if she didn't have to leave for swimming, she eventually would have warmed up and played with the kids.

Kiki came over today after Heather's shower and played with Izzy. They had so much fun!

"Tolor!"

Goofballs playing ball with Stella!

So happy!

Hug!

Spring fun

One of our daycare ladies posted a few pictures of the kids earlier this week. I suggested she start a Facebook page for daycare so we can see our cherubs during the day, it has been so fun to see Izzy during the day now and what she is doing with her daycare friends!

Climbing at Deb's

Someone still fits in the Bumbo chair, oh no!

Busy Izzy

Everyday, we are more and more amazed by how much Izzy is changing and understanding. You can tell her so much more now and she understands. She also knows how to push her limits and see how far she can push you and what she can get away with. Ahh yes, the terrible twos are just around the corner. She is also hilarious. Her personality is shining through more and more each day. My favorite thing she does now is when you actually see her understanding that something is funny and she'll even say, "Funny!" It cracks me up! We have to be careful now, because if she is doing something naughty and we are trying to hide our laughs, she'll say, "Funny!" She loves to feel as if she is being your helper, I am hoping this will come in handy once baby boy is here. Hopefully she'll still be enthusiastic about being helpful and not naughty once she realizes the attention is not all on her.

Izzy's stomach was upset on Friday night from all of the different meds we gave her: motrin, amoxicillin, cough medicine, and her nebulizer. Poor Daddy ended up getting puked on. She, of course, was raring to go right after she threw up and was happy as can be. The medicine kicked in come Saturday morning and you would not have known she was even sick. She was busy and back to herself. The sun came out this afternoon so she was loving being outside. I took a photography class today and had fun coming home and testing out my new settings and knowledge on my model, Miss Izzy. I realized just how hard it is going to be to photograph her for the next year since she won't sit still long enough to get a good photo. I need to keep practicing, but it was fun to take my camera off auto mode and start to understand the different settings in manual mode to get the look I like.

Crazy weather, sick Izzy

Well this weather has been nuts! It was 75 on Monday, 70 on Tuesday and snowing today!! The rapid change in temp hasn't helped Miss Izzy stay healthy. We just got back from the doctor, turns out she has a respiratory infection, looks like she hates the winter as much as her mama! Maybe we will just have to move to Hawaii! We got some antibiotic and we she has to use her nebulizer again. I asked her what she wanted for dinner tonight and she told me, "Medicine!!!" Here is to warm wether and a healthy little girl!
