Past Week

Izzy went to her second birthday party last week. She was SO excited. She got to paint a butterfly, have juice, and a cupcake. She was in LOVE with her gift bag. It doesn't take much to make her happy.
Showing off her goodies

We went to dinner afterwards and she was trying to use the little notebook mirror she got at the party to check out her face paint.

Both kids tried a little piece of cotton candy for the first time. Bobby loved it!

These two goofballs having fun before bedtime.

They get along so well...most of the time. Too cute!

I think I was a little tired last weekend. I fell asleep reading Izzy bedtime stories. Pat snuck a photo. Izzy made me snuggle her Minnie Mouse as we read.

Some funny Izzyism:

Before beach day at school

Fun times in the snow.

A girl and her dog

It is impossible to get these three to get look at the same time.

Bobby's new smile

Stella was sooooo cold

Just an average morning/evening at our house. :)

Our daycare was closed for the week bc they were on vacation, so Grandma and Grandpa watched the kids for a bunch of days. They had a blast. Thank you Gma and Gpa!

Snacks and Arts and Craft time.

Fun times in the snow!

Fresh snow at Gma and Gpa's house, doesn't get much better than this!

Face timing with Olivia!

Gma and Gpa checked out Play and Learn Cafe with the kids. Izzy keeps talking about it.

E-I-E-I-OOOOOO

It was book character day at school, so I wore this wig and these glasses. Izzy and Bobby had to try on the get up.

They will be pretty cute old people

The Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly

For Valentine's Day, Pat and Bobby got us a gift card to get our nails done. Izzy cashed hers in today.

SO proud!

So serious

Such a cutie. She saw the pedicure stations and I told her what they were for, she asked me when she can get her toes done.

Nana watched the kids yesterday for us too! Thanks Nana! We took Nana to get her nails done today, but only Izzy ended up getting hers done due to time. Raincheck. We also went out to lunch. Nana took Izzy into Charming Charlies and tried to buy her some things. Apparently, Izzy told her she didn't need much. She ended up with a cupcake purse that lights up. Bobby got a lovely pink dog purse too. Thanks Nana!

"Let's take a standing picture too!" -Izzy

We met up with Eleanor and her family at the Children's Museum tonight. The kids had a blast!

Sitting at the house

Bobby was in love with the water tables.

Drying their hands

Izzy helping Bobby wash his hands, such a sweet helper.

He clapped his hands and made bubbles go everywhere. He was pretty proud of himself

He couldn't be more of a boy. Climbing into the conveyor belt...only our boy.

"Mommy, Bobby is going in there where he shouldn't be!"

We went to dinner at BWW. Bobby was our Wing Man.

These two cuties had a blast together. Not being at daycare together for over a week made them miss each other even more than normal!

Bobby wanted his picture taken too. His new favorite word is NO! Fun times ahead. :)

Winter

I have been terrible about updating the blog this year...oops! Here is what we have been up to the last few weeks:
Izzy got a new book for Valentine's Day...I think she likes it since she fell asleep with it.

Bobby ate some delicious cupcakes that Grandma made.

My cheerleaders as I vacuum under the table.

This little heartbreaker is obsessed with jumping on the trampoline.

Izzy was excited to do some watercolor painting with special crayons.

We had a fun day together on President's Day.

Izzy thought Stella was cold....she looks thrilled.

We met Grandma for Ash Wednesday Mass and Grandma showed Izzy all of the crosses at the Church.

Izzy has always been a star in our eyes, but she got to be the Star of the Week at Preschool last week.

I may have gone overboard on this assignment, but she was so excited. The teacher told Grandma that Izzy did a great job sharing, but went a little fast and they had to have her slow down and explain each photo. The teacher in me knew I was being "that parent" by sending in a poster with 26 photos on it for an almost 4 year old to share, so I made her practice saying it fast so it wouldn't take too much time. :)

Izzy decided she wanted a dinosaur themed party this year. This came as a shock, since she is such a girly, girl, but I managed to make her a shirt that was still a little girly. :)

Bobby enjoyed having milk in his cereal.

She may have gone back a little too far with the toothbrush.

Bobby being goofy

Grandma and Grandpa were nice enough to take the kids overnight last weekend so we could have date night. It was amazing. We met up with Kathryn and Derek at Harriet Brewery and had an AMAZING dinner at Burch in uptown.

Meanwhile, the kids had a blast with Gma and Gpa!

Thank you guys!

Izzy got a new sassy swimming suit

Izzy helping make muffins, her favorite thing to do

Bobby has been trying to give Stella kisses.

Izzy continues to practice writing her brother's name. I love her Y's.

Being silly, giving her baby doll her nebulizer mask.

Bobby keeps trying to ride on Stella's back.

Izzy was invited to her first friend birthday party last week, she had a blast with her preschool friends.

Bobby went to Urgent Care earlier last week and has a double ear infection. Izzy Facetimed him to keep him happy during the wait.

Izzy thinking before swimming lessons.

Big Girl has no fear in the water
Izzy dressed herself on Friday, it took everything in me not to make her change when we went out to dinner. We can't let this become the norm haha.

Big boy Bobby has gone on the potty a bunch of times this weekend, so proud!! He loves it!

Izzy made the batter, while Bobby put blueberries in the mini muffin tin. Teamwork!

Cutie before gymnastics.

Just doing a little Sunday morning reading.

I had girl's night so Daddy took the kids to get dessert at DQ. They both ate their whole ice cream cones!

Goofball!

YUMMY!
