Video Fun!

Here are some current videos of our Princess. We are enjoying the time when she finds us funny and likes to hang out with us while we can....we are trying to have videos to prove it to her that she liked us and found us funny to show her when she is 16-19 years old. :)

Merry Christmas!

Izzy really enjoyed her first Family Fun Day! She slept through most of it, but really loved her new toys! We tried doing a "photoshoot" with her for our Christmas card, but have decided on a redo so I'll share some of the photos with you. Here are some from Family fun day as well. Thanks to Nana and Papa for having us over for a day of fun and for letting Izzy sleep there for a little bit so we could go to Pat's work party.

Santa

We are off to family fun day with the James' (more pictures tomorrow). But first, we had to stop at Edina Reality and pick up our complimentary Christmas tree and get our picture taken with Santa! Izzy was happy and smiling, didn't mind Santa at all. She did pull his glasses off and loved grabbing his beard! They will send the professional pictures in the mail! :)

She is my child...

We found some similarities with Izzy and I. You may have to look close, but she does have some of my features, like my long fingers.

Izzy is liking chicken more now, especially with apples!

Little Vegetarian Peanut

Izzy is a little peanut, but thankfully a healthy peanut! We had our doctor appointment yesterday and Miss Izzy, despite eating everything in sight, is just slow at gaining weight. She never stops moving and must burn too many calories, because she is only in the 4th percentile for her weight. Her head is still as huge as ever, it is no wonder she is so good at rolling over, she just tilts her head and her head weights her down. We are working on sitting up, which proves to be harder with a big noggin. :) The doctor said the slimmer babies tend to have an easier time rolling over first before sitting up and the babies with a little more chub on them have an easier time sitting up and harder time rolling over? Who knows! She got some shots, which she hated and so did her momma. She had a fever of a 101 this morning from her shots, poor thing! However, after checking in with Nana today, she is happy as ever and her temp has gone down, good news. She is starting meat tonight, she is no longer a herbivore, tonight we will introduce her to the world of carnivores, sorry Auntie Carrie! She wasn't too sure about chicken, check out the video below. I had to mix it with her yogurt to get her to eat it.  Izzy also got to try to use her sippy cup last night and she figured it out and seemed to enjoy getting water a little too much. The video didn't work, so sorry I can't share that funny moment with all of you.

Here are her stats:
Weight: 13.2 lbs (4th percentile)
Height: 26 inches (50th percentile)
Head: 16.5 inches (91st percentile)

Toothers

Miss Izzy is a champion! I checked her mouth today and jaws has not one, but two bottom teeth coming in! No wonder she was out of sorts over thanksgiving without even  having turkey! She is enjoying some teething relief, but has so many options she cant decide which to chew on.

Pumpkin Stealer

Miss Izzy must have been more hungry than I thought! I was feeding her pumpkin for the first time, I gave her a few bites and she loved it, but didn't seem to be too hungry. I was making some homemade pumpkin granola bars while she was playing her in seat. I left the pumpkin on the edge of her tray while I was finishing my baking since she didn't seem like she was all that hungry at the moment. I look over at her and this is what I found. :) I guess she liked pumpkin a lot and wanted more NOW. Soon she won't be needing us anymore.
