Little Vegetarian Peanut

Izzy is a little peanut, but thankfully a healthy peanut! We had our doctor appointment yesterday and Miss Izzy, despite eating everything in sight, is just slow at gaining weight. She never stops moving and must burn too many calories, because she is only in the 4th percentile for her weight. Her head is still as huge as ever, it is no wonder she is so good at rolling over, she just tilts her head and her head weights her down. We are working on sitting up, which proves to be harder with a big noggin. :) The doctor said the slimmer babies tend to have an easier time rolling over first before sitting up and the babies with a little more chub on them have an easier time sitting up and harder time rolling over? Who knows! She got some shots, which she hated and so did her momma. She had a fever of a 101 this morning from her shots, poor thing! However, after checking in with Nana today, she is happy as ever and her temp has gone down, good news. She is starting meat tonight, she is no longer a herbivore, tonight we will introduce her to the world of carnivores, sorry Auntie Carrie! She wasn't too sure about chicken, check out the video below. I had to mix it with her yogurt to get her to eat it.  Izzy also got to try to use her sippy cup last night and she figured it out and seemed to enjoy getting water a little too much. The video didn't work, so sorry I can't share that funny moment with all of you.

Here are her stats:
Weight: 13.2 lbs (4th percentile)
Height: 26 inches (50th percentile)
Head: 16.5 inches (91st percentile)
