Valentine's Day

Izzy went to see a respiratory specialist with Daddy to help manage her asthma better. She found the bucket of dinosaur toys in the room.

Doc McIzzy

I had my 100th day of school last week and Izzy and Bobby thought my outfit was pretty entertaining.

Bobby is thinking, "Oh great, she is going to be one of those crazy old ladies!"

I love this sweet boy!

Bobby loves Izzy and anything she does makes him laugh. This is proof.

We were all smile until she let go and Bobby took a little swim. We decided it was best to keep Bobby in his bath a little longer. :)

Opening their Valentine's from their daycare friends.

Izzy with her new hat from Daddy for Valentine's day!

Bobby was pretty proud about his book!

8 Months!

Whoa, where has time gone!? I know I say it every month, but seriously, how is our baby already 8 months old. I hate that Bobby wants to grow up faster than I can handle. He looks up to his sister and is doing everything in his power to be just like here, including trying to move.

Bobby is eating more table food, he is kind of over the whole baby food thing. I just made a bunch of baby food to get us through until he gets a few more teeth. He loves turkey deli meat, string cheese, yogurt, yogurt drops, Cheerios, Baby Mum-Mums, etc. He will eat anything and everything and A LOT of it. He has been a great sleeper this month, usually going to bed around 6:30 and waking up around 6-6:30. He still takes two good naps a day and loves that he can "partake" in more activities with the kids at daycare. He is starting to rock forward when he sits up and is trying his best to figure out how to crawl. Whenever we get him up from his crib, he is always on his stomach, arching his back, and trying to crawl.

He loves "swimming" or rather, floating and chewing on toys at the gym's splash pad. He is very mellow and content just sitting up with a bucket of toys to dump out and chew on. He is almost always smiling and loves to giggle at Izzy whenever she walks past. When we get on the scale with him, he is weighing between 18-19lbs. He is a solid boy and is getting taller by the day too. We are hoping to contain him in his infant carseat as long as we can, but he is making it hard with his rapid growth.

Izzy calls him "Chunker-McKunker." She may have heard us call him that a time or two.

These pictures are going to get more challenging from here on out. He is on the move and the rocking chair makes it that much more challenging.

Checking out Izzy.

Sweet baby boy!

He is a solid boy! Love the tooth smile.

Life is good, floating and chewing toys at the pool!

Oh hey guys, don't mind me, I am just figuring this whole crawling thing out.

Izzy can get him to smile no matter what.

Practice makes perfect!

Bobby had a little wheez, the doctor said he will likely have asthma like Izzy...great! He got his first dose of the nebulizer last week.

A little of this....a little of that

I went to yoga last night. This is the picture I got from Pat of Izzy doing yoga at home too.

This is a picture from when Izzy went to urgent care. They put her in this contraption so she wouldn't move during her X-rays. They said most kids cry, but Izzy didn't seem to mind it.

We went to the Park Tavern on Sunday night for dinner. Izzy is big into drawing shapes and trying to write some letters, here she is asking Daddy to write her name for her.

Bobby's first time in a high chair at a restaurant.

He still might be a little small...haha He had to reach up onto the table to get his food.

Loving being a big boy

"I just working on my shapes mommy!"

She loves making circles and hearts, but of course, wants a new piece of paper after making two on each page.

Bobby sounds like he is screaming, but he is really laughing hard!

Overdue photo dump

Mr Stud Muffin

Reading with grandma!

She wanted to wear her glasses for gymnastics class too!

Happy boy!

Just playing Legos together.

Thanks for coming to visit Grandma and Grandpa!

Silly girl with olive fingers!

Izzy had an asthma attack on Saturday night, poor grandma and grandpa had to deal with the bulk of it while we were out for Jackie's bday. She ended up at urgent care and with some steroids. She couldn't sleep unless she was sitting straight up. This was her Super Bowl fun!

We were all tuckered out from being up all night with her and I may have snuck a nap in too during the Super Bowl.

Bittersweet moment, Bobby is starting to hold his bottle himself.

Bobby wants to be a big boy and only eat table food. He inhaled Mac and cheese!

Izzy's big girl bed. We took her toddler bed down and put her in a twin bed. Thanks Katelyn!

Where is Izzy? She loves it and so do we, we can all lay in it and read books before bed. Just waiting on the bed skirt.

"I'll just help myself to my toys guys!"
P
He needs to stop growing up so fast, I can't handle it!
Someone was having fun with his reflection.

Fun times with our old neighbors! Enjoying delicious dessert with their homemade chocolate syrup!

Izzy had a mouthful of ice cream. She had so much fun playing with Greta! I wish they still lived by us.

We joined a gym that has an indoor splash pad and pool, izzy was super pumped to be swimming on a cold day.

Bobby took a second to warm up and then LOVED the water! He didn't even have a bottle when he was long overdue for one because he was having too much fun.

We ran into Izzy's daycare buddy there, but she didn't want a picture.

Loving life!

I think it is hilarious that they get their own cards!
