It is so fun seeing and hearing the new things Izzy is picking up at daycare. Her latest, spinning in circles, talking in a monster voice, and saying, "Ohhhh" and what sounds like "uh-oh". When I went to pick her up today, I met Brooks, who seems to be the boy that Izzy likes to copy. Of course, he had a giant red mark on his head from falling just like Izzy always does, a match made in heaven. Izzy is also doing a great job using sign language for more, in the right context. She has also started perfecting her tantrums, so fun! Oh the joys of being one of ten kids at daycare, survival of the fittest, she has to make herself known. I recorded her pathetic attempt at a meltdown last night and will have to share it a day this week so you can experience what we do multiple times a day. :)
I had a meeting today and wasn't able to pick Izzy up until 4:30 since Daddy is still in Chicago. I am normally one of the first moms to pick up her child in the afternoon. Little did I know, Miss Observant noticed that she is normally the first to get picked up. Today, Izzy saw the first mom come downstairs for pick up and started crying when she realized it wasn't me, poor girl! Talk about pulling on your heart strings! Thankfully she was able to patiently wait for me to arrive, but poor girl ha to wait and was one of two left at daycare by the time I got there! I made it up to her by taking her to Barnes and Noble, after dinner and bath, so I could return something and she had a blast walking around with the buckets they had there.

Better late than never...
Being back at school has been a harder transition then I had imagined, I haven't had a chance to blog or think about anything but school it seems. Consider this a photo dump...pictures from this week! Izzy in headbands, in the bath, playing with Papa,Nana, and Heather and more! Also Izzy's first time eating corn off of the cob, as well as a sneak peek at her costume! :)

Smartie Pants Video
Izzy has been working on her sign language lately. We taught her more this weekend, but it hilarious seeing how she does it. She likes to awkwardly point her fingers on one hand and hit her other hand with it. She now can say please, more, all done, and thank you in sign language. We are working on more and more everyday as it makes life easier for everyone when she can communicate with us what she'd like instead of whining. Here is a video of her showing off how she says more, she has already gotten better at it.
Happy Birthday Daddy + First Day again...
We had a wonderful weekend. Everyone was tuckered out by the end of it. We went out to breakfast for Pat's birthday. After a weekend of fun, both Izzy and Daddy were ready for naptime. Pat rocked Izzy after they read a book before naptime, Izzy ended up falling asleep in Daddy's arms. She has never done that before. Clearly she was super tired, she slept for 2.5 hours. I am reminded everyday how lucky I am to have such a wonderful husband and father for our child. Thank you for being so amazing Pat and for putting up with me and my craziness. :) I hope you had a wonderful birthday Daddy! We love you so much!
Sooooo tired!
Trying out headbands for a change, she actually kept it on for quite awhile.
Today was my first day of school with students, Izzy and Stella entertained themselves in the bathroom while I got ready. Double trouble!
Running at the park with Daddy on his 30th!
Just hanging out. :)
What a lovely surprise from Izzy and Daddy today! Thank you!
Busy Izzy getting into everything at the park.

Minnesota Zoo + Minnesota State Fair
These might not be in order, but bear with me. Grandma and Grandpa came
for a visit this weekend to help us celebrate Daddy's 30th birthday!
While the boys went golfing on Saturday, we went to the Zoo. Then, we all went to the MN State Fair today. To be honest, we didn't actually eat that much. I am feeling less guilty about my indulgences than I thought I would and am feeling like I will be able to eat dinner tonight still.

Trying to touch the Prairie Dogs.
Hi friend!
Grandma showing me the fighting Prairie dogs.
I want to get in there and play!
Here kitty, kitty...
Lunchtime break with Grandma.
Izzy loved the penguins at the Zoo. She would try to "pet" them as they swam by.
At the Fair, they had Luminaire, Izzy LOVED it! It was like a giant bouncy house with little tunnels that had really neat light designs. Izzy loved running around and well, sticking her tongue out of course.
Hollywood taking in the views.
Fun with Daddy!
Our Little Farmer Izzy. Once again, her tongue is out.
Silly girl!
This is so fun!
One of the Farm Hands.
Big Fat Bacon....aka...heart attack on a stick. :)

All serious farmers work with their fingers in their mouths. :)

Driving the tractor with Daddy.
My little Munchkin Moo!
She knew just what to do when Pat put her up to it. :)
