Busy Saturday

Busy Saturday! Izzy had swimming lessons and loved that she had her own cheering section. Nana came with to learn the ropes for swimming lessons for when we are in Hawaii and Bobby and I decided to check it out too since we had never been. Izzy kept looking up and was waving at us. She has become quite the fish. Then, we stopped at my aunt and uncle's house so they could meet Bobby and so we could see my cousin and her adorable children. We came home and Chase stopped by since he was in town, he is a natural with babies. After naps, the Craigmiles came over for dinner. Pat used the smoker for the first time to smoke some ribs. Once bedtime for the kids hit, Jackie came back over to watch our new favorite show, Revenge, and Pat went over to hang out with Reid and watch a movie. It was so much fun! 

Bobby started smiling today, but he is quick so I haven't caught it on camera yet.

It is tiring watching Sister's swimming lessons.

Swimming fun

Auntie Heather was nice enough to invite us along to Robyn's house to swim! Izzy is a little fish and had sooooo much fun swimming and jumping! She loved playing with Jolie and Kyle! I think we need a pool now! Thanks for thinking of us Heather and for inviting us Robyn! Izzy was struggling to keep her eyes open on the way home. I am just waiting for her to wake up with leg aches tonight like I did as a kid! 

Jolie was so sweet and patient with Izzy! Thanks to her, Izzy had no fear and was jumping in and swimming right away!

4th of July

We had a great 4th! We met Julie and Matt at the Edina parade, went to George's baseball, and went to Nana's house for a BBQ. I fell asleep before the fireworks started and Pat went outside for a little bit, but said he got bite by a bunch of Mosquitos so he came back in. Izzy had a blast playing with her cousins and being outside.

Little slugger put George's hat on all by herself and didn't seem to mind when the paparazzi start taking pictures. Someone is not camera shy!

There were two cute puppies at the game too!

Park time + twins

PWe have been parking it up lately! Yeaterday, we met Anna and Evan in EP for a kids concert and park play. Bobby got to hang out with Nana yesterday while we went so I could focus on Izzy and have less baggage to tote. I felt so naked without him, but I know Izzy loved having all of my attention and loved that I could actually follow her around the park.

Today, we ran a quick errand to return something and on the way home, Izzy spotted a park, "Mom, park! I like the park!" With that, we stopped at a new park and Izzy was in heaven! 

Daddy had to work later tonight, so we took a walk down the street to our second park today. Izzy loved it!

All tuckered out after the park. He only slept for about ten minutes in the swing. He has recently decided he isn't a fan of the swing. I hope that changes!

And onto the twins...I keep looking back at old photos of Izzy. I keep trying to take similar pictures of Bobby to compare the two. I have a feeling we have another child that will look nothing like me...

Summer days

Thankfully it finally feels like summer! We met up with the Martinsons on Sunday and Izzy decided the sand is the place to be! Bobby loved chilling in the shade and meeting Haddie. Today, we met Anna and Evan at the Splash pad before Bobby's doctor apt. It is nice to get out and about more, I am starting to feel more normal and thankfully Bobby just sleeps so I can have fun with Izzy. He has become more alert now, which has been really fun and he is very interested in figuring out the world around him. We had his doctor apt today to check his hip, he doesn't have hip dysplacia, yeah!! He is also gaining weight quite nicely, something we aren't used to with Izzy. He is up to 8lbs 11oz! He will outweigh izzy in no time.

Weekend fun!

We went to Matt's baseball game on Friday morning. Izzy thought Matt was in his kennel when he was in the dugout and told me the whole way home how Matt hit the ball! Great game Matt!

Friday night, grandma and grandpa came to visit for the weekend! Izzy was super excited to see them and Bobby loved the extra snuggles! Grandpa retired on Friday so Izzy helped me pick out some balloons for him. We also celebrated with a little Wok in the Park dinner on the deck! Congrats Grandpa! Thanks for coming to visit and for making the trip! It is amazing how different it is to have visitor when you have two kids and how much I have learned to let go, sorry the house wasn't cleaned and meals weren't planned! :) I look forward to when we have a routine down more and can venture out more, more importantly, when Bobby sleeps more in the night!
