I was not prepared for this last night! We bought Izzy an early birthday present since she loves "walking" with our assistance. I thought this would be a good idea to help her be able to "walk" on her own and pull herself up since it is very sturdy. However, I don't think I was expecting Izzy to get it this fast and go so fast! She loves it! She smiles and is very proud of herself when she practices her walking. Our world is going to be changing real fast, real soon. She is now opening the drawers under her crib and pulling things out and realizing that when she is on her walker, she can hold herself up with just one hand and grab things with the other hand, like the key on our buffet. It seems like our little peanut is slowly going from a baby to a mini toddler. I know she isn't a toddler yet, but with all these changes and independence, it sure feels like it. Enjoy!
What a beautiful day! Izzy and I just got back from a long walk to Walgreens and back. She talked to the cars the whole way. I cannot wait to be home with her this summer and do that everyday if we want, well that and go to the pool. :)
This pretty much sums up a day in the life of Izzy. I want her life that is for sure! Nothing like biting on everything in sight, playing all the time, taking long naps, going for bike rides, and splashing in the bathtub before bed. Be sure to check out the video of Izzy on our walk the other day. We were dying laughing, she waved almost the whole walk and would kick her feet like she was trying to pedal. We'll be out for another nice walk after work today, another beautiful day here! Hopefully we'll be able to hold off on opening up her birthday present early, her first little swimming pool, until her actual birthday!

Izzy was intrigued by my water bottle filled with mineral water, so we gave her a taste. She loved it at first, but then took some big gulps here. :) Don't mind Stella yawning in the background. Happy Weekend!
Izzy LOVES spaghetti and meatballs! We had leftovers from our meal and gave her some the other night and she inhaled it. Today, I told Stacie to give her the rest for her lunch, but not without putting on the full coverage bib. :) She took these pictures for us, such a ham!
