Well it has been quite the celebration for our little 3 year old! It started with making magic star wand cookies for daycare and a trip to Trader Joes for a few last minutes items on Thursday night. Izzy was pumped she got to push the small cart, it is the small things in life. Friday, Izzy woke up to find a new Minnie Mouse bike downstairs for her and she got to go have fun at daycare with her friends. For dinner, we went to YUM with Grandma and Grandpa so Izzy could get mac and cheese and pick out her very own cupcake. She, of course, ate two sprinkles off of the cupcake, licked a tiny piece of frosting and said she was all done. Saturday, she had her BEST day yet at gymnastics. She was an awesome listener and did really well at each activity. We came home for lunch and naps and then it was party time! Izzy had a blast! When I asked her, her favorite part, she said, "Happy birthday to me and eating cupcakes!" She loved when everyone sang happy birthday to her and inhaled her cupcake. We threw the leftover cupcakes away so she wouldn't be eating them all week, which was good, because the first thing she asked when she woke up this morning was, "Where are my cupcakes? Can I have a cupcake please?" Thanks to everyone for making her birthday so special, I think she truly felt like a Princess and had a smile on her face for most of the day Friday and Saturday. She also had a blast playing with her cousins.
