We went to Build a Bear at the Mall
of America with Miss Izzy. We let her build whatever she wanted, she
chose a puppy of course. She also picked out a teddy bear for Bobby. We
decided Bobby's bear needed a Packers outfit too. Izzy didn't want an
outfit, but rather a brush and a stroller. We were scared going into the
store that it would cost a fortune, but really, it wasn't bad at all.
Izzy's bear was only $15 and Bobby's was only $10 to make, then we added
a few things. The lady who helped us was so sweet and patient with
Izzy. Izzy had a huge smile on her face the whole time and loved running
around the store giving the animals baths, pushing them in the
stroller, etc. It was well worth the drive! She will bring the box with
Bobby's bear in it to the hospital when she comes to see him for the
first time, I am sure she'll be proud. On the way home, she'd hold her
puppy and say, "Mine" and then say, "Other one, Bobby's!" Too cute!
Picking out a heart to put in each animal.
Kissing the heart before added it to the bear and puppy.
Giving them their hearts.
Stepping on the pedal to add stuffing.
Making sure to hold on tight to Puppy while filling bear.
Giving them a bath and brushing them.
Taking Puppy for a ride.
Bobby's Packer Bear.
She wanted to carry the boxes out of the store herself.
Big Girl!
She is in love with her puppy. She held it the whole way home and brushed it.
I think it was a successful birthday!
The Craigmile Crew stopped by with a special gift for Izzy!
Group effort to get it opened since Izzy was being shy!
Yeah!
Thank you, Craigmiles!
